This weekend is the super special Mother's Day Olive Tree Market! To celebrate Mum's special day we are having a mini sale, yep! it's the first time ever for us.

Well we are at the end of another market year, tomorrow is our last market for 2012, so this will be your last chance to grab any christmas goodies from us! 

Last night I finished sewing some new reversible handbags, there are loads of new designs and even some handprinted ones to match our handprinted shirts! I've also printed up some new shirts and replesnished the sizes so make sure you get in early to grab your size. and and and to the lovely peeps that emailed me about the striped green heart shirt that sold out at Art Bazaar, I have some more!

How I dyed my hair and became a new woman... or something like that!?!

Well that may not be entirely true, but it got your attention. For those that didn't get to pop into the Olive
Tree Market, you would have all missed my new lovely locks! Or as my father (bless him) says.. 

'Geez it's bloody red isn't it love'.

Tired of endless trips to the hairdressers to 'cover the greys'. Perhaps this is what middle aged men are ultimately doing when they buy a motor-bike and wear Hawaiian shirts. Rebelling... I'm rebelling against my premature grey hair that seems to be over taking my head. All the same, I think it looks rad (yes, I did just use that word). I am way too young to embrace my grey hair just yet. Against the advice of Oprah's website --> see article here

It's tough work making it stay red. This kind of vanity is not for the feint hearted. I am currently dyeing it
once every three weeks and using a red colour conditioner daily that stains my hands, Lady Macbeth has
got nothing on my red digits!

So if you want to be brave, I've listed how you can also have a premature mid life crisis and still look rad in the process.

1. Pre-lighten your hair if not light or blonde already.

2. Dye with Schwarzkopf Brilliance - Hypnotic Red

3. Shampoo and condition daily with Vitality Espresso Red Colour Conditioner

The Olive Tree Markets - 1st Saturday of the Month @ The Junction Primary

Hi Strangers,

Just wanted to remind you all The Olive Tree Markets are on again tomorrow from 9am to 3pm.
The market has expanded and grown over the past years that we've been a stallholder and we now 

have a new Gourmet Artisan Food area and music throughout the day from Lizottes Newcastle.

Drop in for breakfast or brunch with many of the Olive Tree food stalls offering delicious breakfast
offerings and coffee by Sprocket Roasters who roast their beans in Newcastle.

 The Olive Tree Market operates Rain, Hail or Shine with the majority of the market undercover.

Getting ready for the last Olive Tree Market for the year

It's been a another really big year for me, starting a new job, buying the lodge, expanding the business and generally trying to find time in between for family and friends!

It's true what most business owners say, that its hard to switch off and hard to stop working. I often feel guilty when i'm not making stock or maintaining my website. Any tips on how to switch off business brain and start using fun times brain?
